... did you remember who you were the whole time you were gone?

Yes.
However, we had a second set of memories that were from the place we went to.
So I remembered both at the same time, so it was difficult at times to figure out which set of memories were the real ones and which were fake.

did you recognize where you guys were? did you have those memories right away?
when we were gone we didn't have our original memories at all until about the end
and the last group mostly had theirs and only theirs the whole time

It's hard to explain.
When we initially got there, we started out with our normal memories and then the most "recent" fake memories.
More and more of the fake memories came back to us as we spent time there.
Like I did not know the building we were in, but after I looked outside, I suddenly knew all about it.

adding the knowledge as you needed it but not replacing what you already had

what did the other memories tell you?

We were not good people in that world.
We were human traffickers, taking people who visited the brothel.
I don't even know what they were all used for. Experiments and who knows what else.

sorry i just mean thats a huge shift from who you all are
does that mean you had to actually act on those memories...?

Thankfully we did not have to do anything with that.
But we constantly had to face the consequences of what we did.
Seeing people it affected.

not really doing these things but having the memories you had
what were you trying to do if not that? were they things you could try to fix?

We woke up, and what we initially remembered was getting killed by someone.
We did not remember who or why.
We had to figure out each person who killed us to settle a karmic debt.

did you guys at least remember the how to have some sort of clue?
how do you even start solving that?

We had to investigate.
We went around and talked to people, and as we did memories came back to us that revealed more.
At some point we were attacked by a rat who wanted revenge against us.

Yes.
The rat kidnapped Hak and I, which lead to a confrontation.
His lover was sick and dying, apparently due to what we were doing.

um. how did the confrontation turn out? were you guys separated for long?

[oversea]

We all joined forces against the rat and defeated him.
But then we were separated again immediately after.

okay. makes sense. was the rat one of the people who killed one of you then, or somebody else who just got in the way?
were you separated from hak too that time?

[oversea]

Hak went with Yuma.
I ran after Medea, but I was unable to catch up to her, so we were separated.
The rat didn't kill us.
