things can be difficult when you're both private for different reasons. but then you can get past it. maybe not every time, but enough times that you can try to make it work.

he shifts just to get more comfortable and close his eyes. it's getting easier to get used to this. ]

And it's up to you if you want to play it our or not, but if you're leaving the box up to me it'll contain something stupid. Like the signed autograph Thorns got him during Heart of Surging Flames. ]

they can wake, where thorns has to go through several phases of remembering he currently has one arm to the fact that elysium is here. thorns pats him. ]

But considering this is probably the most rest he has allowed himself since the last time they more or less forced each other to sleep, he's dead tired. He groans, then curls in closer. It is precisely because it is not morning and will never be morning that they do not need to wake up. Excellent logic. ]

so he just settles back down, readjusting the covers so that he is more comfy. ]

[ The sign didn't specify how long the nap needed to be for, so just to be extra, extra careful shouldn't they sleep until the both of them feel well rested?

These are the very wise, very smart thoughts of a guy who totally isn't taking advantage of the situation, or thinking the following thought:

"Was being with someone else always this comfortable…? This is nice."

he wants to pinch him so bad and the only thing stopping him is the fact that elysium genuinely looked exhausted. but he is pinching him in his mind.

[ How is the guy who just came back from a CYOA not more exhausted. Whatever. Thorns isn't disturbing him so he's just going to keep him anchored here like they're at the bottom of the sea.

He just smiles as he makes himself more comfortable. ]

however, thorns does not argue over this fact. one of the (many) downsides to being here is the fact that his bad dreams have started to come back. so something like this is especially nice. ]
